I began my counselling training in 2013 and now provide counselling to adult individuals through my private practice and voluntary work with Mind.
I have worked in the civil service since 2001 in a variety of operational and managerial roles and now work in the civil service as a mental health and wellbeing advisor and trainer.
I am married and have two children. In my free time I enjoy getting outside in nature, hiking in the mountains, and playing squash (badly).

Foundation Course in Psychodynamic Skills and Theory from the Counselling Foundation, St Albans.
There is so much to learn in the context of counselling and psychotherapy and as an integrative counsellor I'm able to incorporate what I learn alongside my core training model. I'm committed to continuing my professional development and staying on top of new developments in the profession. I've attended further training and courses in counselling and psychology at the Open University, Southampton University, Oxford University Mindfulness Centre (OMC), British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), Mental Health England, Balanced Minds, Thrive, Mind, Business Disability Forum, and the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust. In January 2025 I am starting a Level 5 Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) Skills and Theory.
I'm available through my private practice on a Monday and Tuesday and I offer sessions both in-person and online.

I am an experienced mental health and wellbeing advisor and trainer and can provide training to businesses and organisations on a number of workplace themes such as mental health awareness, wellbeing, stress and resilience.
